As part of its commitment to community services , Netfast has entered into an agreement with University of New Haven to provide training and IT certifications for computer science graduates of UNH for a period of one year.
The certifications available to graduates will be from top OEM partners of Netfast, which include Brocade, Alcatel-Lucent, F5 Networks and Silver Peak Systems among others. Once a student has completed their certification, Netfast may allow them to shadow experienced IT engineers during implementation of various projects for selected clients, giving them real-world applications experience.
“The University of New Haven has a tremendous reputation for academics and leadership in computer science,” said Joe Asady, CEO of Netfast. “We are extremely pleased to work with the University of New Haven Department of Computer Science to link talented UNH students with Netfast’s IT innovative solutions and services.”
Graduate students interested in the program will be required to submit an application of interest to the Netfast Executive Management team for review. Once selected, the student along with the Netfast team, will determine which certifications are the best fit and begin training immediately thereafter.
